The landscape of advertising is growing and social media and social networking sites are the newest forms. As a startup company, I use these new forms so I can make direct personal contact with my potential customers and build relationships with them. This contact generates real time feedback and credibility. I use Twitter, Facebook, Linked In, XING and others. None of the other more traditional advertising venues offer this advantage.
